Quarter 4 Update:
MISE-EN-SCENE

Mise en scène is a French term that means "placing on stage" and refers to everything in the frame of a film or play—the set design, props, costumes, lighting, and the arrangement of actors (blocking)—that contributes to the audience's visual experience and the overall meaning of the scene.

It is a fundamental element of visual storytelling, used to establish mood, convey character, and advance the narrative through deliberate artistic choices.

It is with this in mind that I came up with an idea to set up different "scenes". I take on the role of a director and set up different stages, which are dressed for specific moods, scenes or narratives.

I will use both naturalistic and theatrical Mise en scène to highlight key ideas to quickly communicate the scene, idea or narrative of each subject/idea.
